Custom AI Agents and Workflows with Zibri.ai

By Finn

What Are Custom AI Agents?

Zibri.ai lets you turn the content stored in your personal vault—notes, documents, voice recordings—into a bespoke AI agent. Unlike generic chat‑bots, these agents answer questions only from the material you’ve saved, ensuring answers are grounded in your own knowledge.

Building an Agent

  1. Select a vault – Choose the vault that contains the domain you want the agent to specialize in (e.g., research papers, project plans, or meeting notes).
  2. Define a purpose – Give the agent a clear role, such as “research assistant for market analysis” or “project‑status summarizer.”
  3. Enable Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) – Zibri.ai automatically indexes the vault and uses RAG to pull the most relevant excerpts when the agent generates a response.
  4. Test the agent – Ask natural‑language questions like “What were the key findings from the Q2 market study?” and watch the agent retrieve and cite the exact notes that answer the query.

Automating Workflows

Custom agents can be wired into automated workflows that trigger on events you define:

  • New note added – When you capture a fresh research insight, the workflow can automatically update a summary document or notify a Slack channel.
  • Scheduled run – Set a daily run that asks the agent to generate a “what‑was‑done‑today” briefing from the day’s vault entries.
  • External trigger – Connect Zibri.ai to tools like Zapier or native integrations (e.g., Microsoft Teams) so a command in Teams can invoke the agent and return a concise answer.

Real‑World Use Cases

Use Case How the Agent Helps
Research projects Pulls together findings from dozens of PDFs and notes, producing a single, sourced summary for a literature review.
Team knowledge base Answers teammates’ questions about past decisions without them digging through meeting minutes.
Content creation Generates draft outlines for blog posts or reports based on the vault’s stored research, saving hours of manual synthesis.
Customer support Provides support reps with instant, accurate answers drawn from internal documentation and past tickets.

Getting Started

  1. Create a vault (or use an existing one) and start populating it with the content you want the agent to know.
  2. In the Zibri.ai UI, go to Agents → New Agent, select the vault, and give your agent a descriptive name.
  3. Choose the Workflow tab to add triggers and actions that suit your workflow.
  4. Test the agent with a few queries, refine the purpose, and let the automation run.

Why It Matters

  • Privacy‑first – All data stays in your vault; the platform does not train its underlying models on your content.
  • Speed – Instant, sourced answers replace time‑consuming manual searches.
  • Consistency – The same knowledge base powers both human queries and automated processes, reducing knowledge silos.
